Serene Vale Inn Railway station free pick-up by 2 nights English and Spanish reception... It was a perfectly organized stay. We messaged the property via booking.com to get a transfer from train station and tours to Longji rice terraces and Li Cruise organized. Everything was duly noted and executed. We were picked up by the driver at the train station (it was a free pick-up included in the price because we stayed for 3 nights). Next day the driver took us to the docks and handed tickets for the Li Cruise. The other day English-speaking driver Peter picked us up and we drove to the Longji rice terraces. Before going to the terraces we cooked a bamboo rice and visited minority village. Also we had one more free day when we arrived, and the receptionist showed us the points of interest to visit in Guilin (lake with Pagoda twin towers, elephant trunk park, etc.). The staff does not speak any English but we were able to communicate fluently via WeChat (there is a built-in translator there), Google translate and other translator apps. So in general we had no communication issues.

The views from the room were stunning. The owners of the hotel speak english very well and helped us to plan our stay. Highly recommended.

Lakeside Inn Guilin Central has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Guilin. Lovely terrace, owner spoke good english and was very helpful and attentive, i was even invited to join his friends for dinner one night. The food was delicious and biiig portions.

It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Good bicycles to rent and trips/taxis can be organised. We'd love to return again one day - the scenery is simply unforgettable! Thank you Laura! Tim and Ann

The location is great, easy to walk to amazing viewing of the rice terrace and the host came to meet us at the parking lot to take us to the hotel. The host also helped to carry my suitcase . Great breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. We have a room with balcony view overlooking the rice fields. The hotel is beautifully decorated including the room and large dining area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host also arrange for transportation to and from Guilin Station and hotel.

Eden Inn offers a European standard of Service and Cleanliness. We pride ourselves in the highest standard of Cleanliness and Value for Money in the whole Yangshuo area. We couldn’t have had a better stay in Yangshuo! Sammie, Eric and Limin were incredibly friendly and helpful - even walking with us to rent scooters and to the restaurant to help us order the best dishes. The room was great and the common area is lovely with outdoor seating and a pool table. Eric also stocks the best italian coffee and Belgian beers. The location in the countryside is beautiful, and much more relaxing than being in town (which is a quick drive away). We wish we could’ve stayed longer, and will definitely be back one day!

Great experience. This is a great place with enthusiastic staff. And they can speak English, which makes our communication more smooth. The moon mountain can be seen in the room, and the view is very beautiful. The most amazing thing is to sit in the grapefruit forest and eat Chinese barbecue. The food is delicious, clean and cheap. Finally, it's really worth coming back here again.

This lodge is definitely a true hidden gem. It’s conveniently located at the heart of Yangshuo’s downtown, closed to the famous shopping street, Xijie Street, and all other famous attractions. The rooms are beautifully designed in modern comforts, spacious, and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and most stunning thing is “there is an elevator!!” inside the lodge. We did not have to walk all to way up to 6th floor. We just had more than we expected and needed for a perfect stay. The host is a lovely couple and they are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. They are also professional tour guides and help planned our itinerary to explore and experience the Yangshuo local attractions. They made us feel like part of the local family and complete our travel effortless. All in all, this lodge is absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a decent retreat with exceptional services and a genuine local experience, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be returning!!
