Boasting a prime location within the castle walls, this century-old restored mansion features a tranquil courtyard and charming accommodation with views over the castle. Why asked for dinner recommendations and in was provided. We left early morning and asked for some early breakfast, it was provided and left in our room.

Well set in the centre of Ioannina, 43 Ave provides 3-star accommodation close to Cathedral Church of Agios Athanasios and Castle of Ioannina. The place was clean and the location was great for us.

They made us feel like family from the very first moment.

The staff was very helpful when I lost my wallet, and I was able to retrieve it because of them. We loved hiking in the area as well! I recommend a guided tour.

This is what everyone wants from a family-run hotel, the most wonderfully genuine people who embraced us as if we were friends. Angela, her family, and their staff are amazing hosts. The hotel is spotless with large well-decorated rooms, the best bed we have ever slept in [including our one at home], quality linens and big fluffy towels that were changed every day, great wi-fi so I could work, plentiful breakfast, and their cafe/bar area is frequented by village locals so you really feel part of the community. I had a rental car problem and Yannis was so kind to take me to the garage to get it fixed and even spoke to my rental company in Greek so there were no translation errors The location is steps away from the Perama Caves and a short walk to the lake, maybe a 5-minute drive to Ioannina, and close to a rural area. Honestly deserves to have a higher star rating. I sincerely hope to visit again, highest recommendation.

Situated in Melissourgoi, 6.2 km from Anemotrypa Cave, Hotel Koferita features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The location was amazing and unique. Top three in Greece excluding islands which is a different category. This area is remote but hugely sophisticated in the availability of infrastructure and the perks that we have been spoiled with. There is wifi even on the remotest paths in complete wilderness. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a minimalist modern look in combination with a great feminine touch. Thoughtful and inspiring touches throughout, even in the hallways and staircases. The room was the largest I've seen in Europe. The bedding was very comfortable. The views beyond terrific. The staff was just the most wonderful, sweet, considerate, thoughtful and hugely helpful staff I have ever come across. I left feeling like we had become friends. So much emotional warmth and care. Finally the breakfasts were perfect with everything being prepared freshly and by the family.
