The Residenza is in close proximity to historical sites we wanted to visit. The on-site restaurant served an excellent breakfast. Thank you to the friendly staff who made our stay pleasurable.

Hotel Liberty is located in a quiet, residential district, 1 km from the centre of Turin. Porta Nuova Train Station is just a 10-minute walk away. The comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The staff were extremely friendly and the man who checked me in told me lots about the special memory foam mattresses and toppers they had, which I thought was just friendly information - not at all, absolutely the best bed I've slept in in years. It was cold when we travelled and the room and the hotel were very warm and cosy, rooms were super spacious - nothing to fault. I was travelling with my partner but I was there alone for the first day and a half and the staff on reception were extremely friendly with me and made me feel super safe, and that I appreciated a lot too. Super cute rooms, classy but nicely decorated, great shower with good water pressure, lovely spacious bathroom, more than enough storage space, and no noise at all from the street. 100% recommend.

Fabulous warm welcome from the owner.The room is unbelievable. modern large spotlessly clean with great private terrace.So relaxing.Breakfast was incredible,everything you need and more.The home made cakes were exceptional. 10 minute stroll to Canobbio. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough..left with nice parting gift from the owner,a fealty nice touch.

Visiting Stresa and the Borromean Islands during mid October can be a bit tricky due to the rainy autumn weather. But if you are lucky enough to have a good weather, then it is the perfect time to visit the islands. We had an over night stay at Hotel il Verbano and I must admit, this Hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was on the first floor. It was spacious enough, clean and tidy and had a direct access to a large balcony which is shared by all rooms on the said floor. The view is stunning, Isola Madre is just infront of the balcony and on the right side is the majestic Isola Bella. Since it was low season, there were just a couple of guests, so we almost had the balcony exclusively for us. There were chairs/ garden sofas and sun beds enough to accomodate thier guests. The Reception and the Staff are very friendly and professional. We had a great breakfast. Although the choices were limited to several sorts of cheese, cold cuts, pastries, etc., it was the quality of the breakfast that counts. We enjoyed those crunchy freshly baked bread and pastries. I can highly recommend Hotel il Verbano not just due to its location, service and friendly staff, but the unique experience and the tranquility that we had during our short stay on the Isola dei Pescatori.
