I Odaicho, bare 38 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet og 37 kilometer fra Oharai-machi ligger Fairfield by Marriott Mie Okuise Odai. Since I was here for work, I cannot say much about the location in terms of touristic appeal. But it is located in a beautiful mountain area! Beautiful, clean rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Located next to a supermarket, which is convenient to grab a few snacks. Reception staff were all so nice !

I Mihama, bare 10 kilometer fra Ubuta Shrine og 11 kilometer fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha ligger Fairfield by Marriott Mie Kumano Kodo Mihama. We were genuinely quite surprised at how nice this hotel was. Visiting as part of a three week tour for our honeymoon, we stayed in 9 hotels, and some swanky ones costing almost 10x this per night. Somehow I remember this over most of them. Value for money, this was the best out of them all. Service was amazing (obviously, it's Japan). The reception, halls and rooms were mostly made out of wood and with the lighting low and moody, it was a very chilled and relaxing place to be. The bed was gigantic, and the amenities in the room just what you need - really good shower with good shampoo and gel, mirrors, water, tea & coffee with a kettle, pj's etc. In addition, there's a communal area on the ground floor with a fridge containing frozen fresh soups (didn't try), and a microwave, kettle, and all of the utensils for dinner in a kitchen area nearby. It's on a main-ish road but we couldn't hear any noise at all in case you have concerns. There's no restaraunt here but they offer bento boxes for breakfast. I'd highly recommend the Benkei restaraunt over the road for some extremely nice Ramen!

I Toba, bare 8 minutters gange fra Chidorigahama-stranden og 29 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet ligger Ise-Shima Ohtaya Healing Stay. I really like this place. The female owner has an inquisitive mind, a warm personality, and a kind heart. Her English is good enough to communicate and ask for help. The sauna and the private onsen in the room are top-notch. I did not check the public onsen with natural hot spring, but heard it's amazing too. I booked the 5th floor with an ocean view, and the private onsen experience during starry night and the set rise were indeed amazing! The hotel itself is located in a remote little cute fish town called osatsucho, where you can find fishmen and women harvesting and selling the Ise lobsters in the morning by the port. It was a very unique and interesting experience to stay in that little town for two days during the winter when it was not crowded at all. The nearest convenience store is 10 + miles away. It was a very natural, grounding, even retreat-like experience to me, and it was drastically different from my experience in Tokyo, Nayoga, or Osaka. I did spot a few demolished houses with broken windows in the town, not sure if it's because of COVID or during the winter when there were fewer tourists. The big plus is the Shinmei shrine next door to the hotel, which is a very calming and spiritual place to visit and stay for a bit too.

Resort Hills Toyohama Soranokaze ligger i Toba, 2 minutters gange fra Chidorigahama-stranden. Her bor du med utsikt over sjøen. onsen hotel on beautiful stretch of coast near to beaches.

I Ise, bare 10 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet og 10 kilometer fra Oharai-machi ligger Oishiya. Excellent bf n service! The waitress explained everything n excellent service n smile

Bare 5,9 kilometer fra Ise Jingu-tempelet ligger Comfort Hotel ERA Ise, som tilbyr 3-stjerners overnatting i Ise. Her har du tilgang til gratis sykler. Great location. Superb service. The library cafe is great for regrouping and the teas and drinks are so refreshing. Will be back next trip.

I Iga, 46 kilometer fra Suzuka Circuit, ligger AB Hotel Igaueno, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. Overnattingsstedet ligger 48 kilometer fra Nara stasjon og har røykfrie boenheter. The public bathroom was nice and the breakfast was delicious!

HOTEL R9 The Yard Matsusaka ligger i Matsuzaka, 34 kilometer fra Suzuka Circuit og 21 kilometer fra Oharai-machi. Dette 3-stjerners hotellet har rom med klimaanlegg, eget bad og gratis WiFi. I'm glad you no longer have that awful chair! The current chair is much better.
