We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Ing Lay. It is in a great location right near the pier and the village. The family running the hotel were super friendly and delivered a fresh fruit plate each afternoon. We stayed in the pink house which had a large veranda and was perfect for enjoying the evening breeze from. The room was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed. We would definitely come back.

Offering a sandy beach area and water sport facilities, KALUME' Eco Boutique Resort-Adult only also boasts a restaurant, a relaxing massage service and a luscious tropical garden. This place is unbelievably amazing. Stefano and Daniella are the perfect hosts and all the staff cannot do enough to ensure everything is perfect. Breakfast is great and during our 3 night stay we dined in the restaurant every evening for a taste of the authentic Italian dishes. Be sure to try the spaghetti bolognese and the creme brûlée. The location and surroundings are so tranquil and the resort allows for a total switch off from normal life.

There is always a risk of returning to a great place that the place doesn't seem so great the second time around, but the opposite applies to The Reef Resort! We felt even more welcomed and had got even more out of our time on Koh Kradan now when we "came back". Genta and Jack have such an impressive quality of remembering which guests like what even after hosting them once for 1-2 days. Also with other staff members, we noticed how much they paid attention to our likes and dislikes, trying to anticipate our needs and give us the greatest experience possible. We also were impressed by almost all staff members from the year before still being at The Reef Resort which speaks for nearly no turnover. It is really a matter of personal taste: we liked the setup where there is no big noisy entertainment program in the evening, just a round bar in the middle of the resort where everyone is welcome to have a drink, or have a chat, or play a round in a board game. If you travel alone, and wish for some socialisation, this is a perfect setup for engaging with other people without a big effort. The location is (literally) a stone-throw from the reef and the basically the hotel is standing on the beach. There are a few places around that Genta recommends at the check-in (e.g. the best pizza on the island is next door), but the variety of (primarily) Thai dishes at the resort restaurant is so big that this time around we really stayed close "to home" and went all in on seafood and Thai dishes, and not even once was there anything missing in the food we ate. Pad Thai at The Reef Resort remains my personal definition of a great Pad Thai. Just like last time we visited, it was a great value for the price considering the climate around the hotel (it is an island with humid climate), the availability of hotels on Koh Kradan (there are not many), and the fact that everything needs to be brought in by boat.

The resort is located on a wide beach, among trees, birdsong and in a quiet location. the owner and his family always smiling and extremely helpful. They organized airport transfer, a fantastic trip to the national park and many others. The food in their restaurant is wonderful, especially the curry, fish, crabs and shrimps. From the bungalow there is a view of the sea, from the terrace you can admire the sunset. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back to you!

This lovely hotel was exceptional, firstly the staff were so helpful & kind, always went above & beyond to help us, the breakfast was so delicious and made fresh every morning, room was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Also in a great area of Trang literally 2 mins from incredible night market.

The staff were really friendly, great location right on a small beach and the pool is great. Our daughter loved the slide into the pool and the outdoor play room near the restaurant. Great long tail boat trips to Ko Kradan for snorkeling picked up and dropped off straight from the beach if the tide was high enough. Kayaks to rent there too. Lovely restaurant view and food, good selection of breakfast options to cover all bases.
