It's an older house in a more traditional neighbourhood, so I recommend it as an interesting experience, and a way to get to know also other parts of the city. It seems remote, but it isn't really. There is a Youbike station nearby, and it's easy to get pretty much everywhere. It's closer to the Museum of Prehistory, and to a bus stop for taking buses out of Taitung. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is included, and they were so nice to ask about preferences, and to try to accommodate them. At first I thought it might get noisy in the room, but it was comfortable, and nobody was loud or disturbing. The bathroom is clean and pleasant. I appreciated the vintage touch. From the room you go directly outside into the narrow street, and it's nice to see how it feels like to live in one of these houses. It's a small place, with a bit of history. There is a nice rooftop, too, for a view, and for some lazy time.
