Lovely staff and so helpful. Excellent location and close to all amenities and the Old Town. Delightful street with old world charm and character. Close to a great family taverna. Also close to the beach.

For the class of apartment hotel this was a very good find and our family were glad we stayed here. We have two early teenage boys so we really wanted somewhere in Rhodes with a pool close enough to the old town that we could walk into town for the day and walk back for an afternoon swim to cool down before heading out later for dinner. Unless we wanted to pay a lot more in the New Town, or extravagantly more at a distant resort location, 7 Palms was the best located and the best value. Some reviews say the Old Town is a 10 minute walk away and some say it's 20. What we found is that the closest gate is about 10 minutes away, brisk walk, and that gets you to the quieter end of the old town (but with interesting things already nearby). A few more minutes in gets you to the start of the action with it being 15-25 mins to get to all the bustling or key spots within the walls. Our boys loved jumping off the diving tower out in the water from Elli beach and that was about 30-35 mins through the New Town. We're walkers so this was fine but I can imagine for many it would be a bit draining in the heat. The local beach, which is actually perfect if you just want to lay on a decent value sunbed, was only 10 minutes walk away. Some people mention that the location isn't the best and that there's not much around. It's true that there isn't the touristy aspects of the Old and New towns but there actually is quite a few "local" options at really decent prices. So for us, and what we needed, the location was good. We ate local a couple of times and loved the local authenticity and value but if you need to be right in the vibe then this area may not be for you. Lastly, so many people mention Domy and rightly so. If you don't engage with Domy you are missing out, she is a local encyclopedia. She knows where to go and what to do.
