The Hotel is situated in the historic centre of town a few steps away from the conference hall, exhibition grounds(Fortezza da Basso) and train station. Good location, the staff was very nice and the place was very clean.

Set in a restored Tuscan manor house, Casamare Hotel offers rooms and cottages with air conditioning and heating. There is also a guest lounge and a dining area. What a lovely experience! They asked me in a message on booking what time my train would arrive. I let them know, and asked if I could check in at 2pm because my knee was bothering me from all of the hiking I’d done day before. I arrived at San Vincenzo train station and who should appear but Sirio (who works in reception) and he said “I’m here to pick you up!” That was so sweet, and he’s amazing, and his English is perfect. The next day at breakfast I met Sylvia, and immediately adored her. She made me a delicious coffee and I watched her at work. She’s so cheerful, I also met Soad, and Sonia. Everyone working there was so nice! Sirio gave me a ride to the station when I left. My experience of this hotel was like staying with family. I truly enjoyed it!
