We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, peaceful cabin. It was spotless, well-appointed, and the views were stunning. The styling and attention to detail made it a wonderful place to relax, and we really enjoyed spending the evening around the outdoor fire pit. Our only disappointment was that the listing highlights the fireplace as the villa’s special feature, so we were expecting to be able to use it. As we stayed in the middle of winter, it would have made the cabin feel even cozier. It may be worth updating the listing or letting guests know in advance if the indoor fireplace isn’t operational. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful country escape. We’d definitely return.

A Beautiful and Peaceful Mountain Retreat! An absolutely stunning place surrounded by beautiful flowers and breathtaking mountain views. The setting is incredibly peaceful and tranquil, filled with birdsong and the lovely fragrance of flowers. The house is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the high-quality coffee machine and delicious coffee beans provided. The thoughtful touches were amazing, including fresh milk, wine, and even eggs! Every detail reflects the care and generosity of the wonderful host, Janet. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality! We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this beautiful property!

Amazing views, the best cabin we have ever stayed in. Warm, spacious, views from each window, great deck and wonderful bathroom. Very well stocked and owners have thought of everything. Lovely bathroom products. Comfy bed. We did not want to leave. Enjoyed the fire pit. The best accommodation to enjoy the Barrington Tops. Don't stay anywhere else. Just beautiful.

Spectacular view Close to town Close to bush walks Loved the layout and design of the accommodation The views even from bathrooms were amazing, so relaxing sitting in the bathtub looking at the vista. The fire pit was a great touch Loved the two living areas Very comfortable temperature at night when it gets cooler with the floors holding the heat. This is an absolutely beautiful cottage and in beautiful surroundings, with just a short stroll through the woods to the Barrington River. The hosts have thought of everything, from the fully equipped kitchen kitchen to the comfortable beds, to the two lounge areas with comfortable leather recliners, to the recreation equipment - even a table tennis table! A stroll through the cottage looking at the photos that adorn the walls of almost every room is like taking a guided tour of the history of Gloucester, Barrington and the Gloucester Basin. And being able to have a bath outside in the open air, in complete privacy but with expansive views across to the mountains, was a special treat. Wonderful hosts who, although we didn't get to meet them as they were busy meeting their new grandson in the Blue Mountains, went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
