Villas in Monkey Fall

The property was exactly as pictured. It included any and everything you can think of. Absolutely amazing.

The pool was such a treat. Everyday after exploring it was to come back and take a dip. Quiet neighborhood, close to lots of great things. Definitely recommend having a car rental. It is walking distance to town but it’s on a hill.

This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

Beautiful. Lots of birds and plants to look at. Very well maintained by Albert the caretaker who is a wealth of information. We loved our daily visits from Willy and Stinky the properties dogs.

I had a great stay here and was really happy with the place. It’s beautiful, and the views from the second floor were especially nice. I also loved watching all the bird activity around the property. The hosts were easy to communicate with and kept everything smooth.

We liked that it was secluded and away from the Center of the city. Very spacious, fully equipped kitchen, AC in bedrooms.

It was indeed a cozy home. We enjoyed the feeling of being home. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to be back soon. Excellent place and highly recommended. 🩷

In the countryside with animals, birds and plants.

The second floor had a beautiful view of the countryside. The house is located in a good area near town and we loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the birds. Having a washer was an extra perk!

It was like staying in a super nice home and hotel at the same time. Fabulous. All the details were thought of in every room.

Quiet jungle setting, but close to town. The cabin is rustic ( no AC), but there were lots of fans and nice touches like a bidet toilet seat, local coffee, and a hummingbird feeder outside. Walking distance to a great breakfast stand (3 minutes) and grocery (3 minutes); maybe a mile to “downtown”. Loved listening to the birds and the rain. The screened porch area is lovely and has a table for breakfast or whatever.

Surrounded by vegetation/nature. Clean, quiet, and comfortable.. The highway is only about 100 yards away with a constant flow of taxis. I have no transportation. The hosts are just awesome, especially Jenny. She booked tours for me and even found new lodging elsewhere (at a discounted rate) when I could not extend my stay. The highlight is the cat sanctuary on site.
