It is a great place to discover the area from. We went on a few trips to the nearby lake and surrounding nature, as well as visiting the city of Troyes a bunch of times. The garden is large, green and lovely for children to play in. The fact that it is so large also means that you can sit in the sun for a long time. As the lot is very big in general there is ample parking space for even several cars. The sun covers are great for keeping out the heat during the day. As we went out to make trips, we made sure to close all the sun covers. Upon coming back, the home would be nice and cool. The screens in front of the windows are a life savor, as you can open the windows without any bugs coming in. Getting into the lot is very easy with the remote, and closing the fence makes surprisingly little noise.

We loved our overnight stay here. It was a perfect pitstop on our way back to the UK. The garden in particular was incredible, and was exactly what our children needed after a long day in the car. They loved all the equipment and toys as well as the animals (especially the ducklings!), and were desperate to get out in the garden again in the morning. The hosts were really accommodating and very friendly. We would happily stay here again and would recommend to others.

La Maison des Lacs et des Parcs is a recently renovated vacation home in Amance where guests can make the most of the garden and terrace.
