Villas in Thrónos

Lotusland is simply wonderful. The house is very well restored, spacious, fully equipped. The furniture is also very nice, there are no useless things and the decorations are distributed with care and taste. The yard is just perfect, with the table and benches under the grapewine, the space for the sunbeds, the swimming pool which is in optimal position (always under the sun) with a pleasant view towards the mountains. There is also a terrace to enjoy an open view of the beautiful surroundings and of the sky full of stars in the night. The communication with the host, Kostas, was very simple and efficient. He was also very flexible and helpful when we asked for something. We are quite demanding normally, as for cleanliness and quality of the spaces, but Lotusland just fulfilled all our possible expectations and needs and there was nothing extra we would have wanted once we stayed there. The position within the village is also good, since you can just have a walk through the tiny streets to reach the main points of interest. We can recommend this place to anyone who appreciate a quiet stay, a beautiful landscape in the nature, a simple but very well designed interior, with contemporary comforts and at the same time the warmth of traditional details.

We were a group of 7 people and we all just loved our stay. The house is extremely comfortable, restored with love and amazing care for the architectural and decorative details, and with several terraces with beautiful views. The care taker, Ms Rumi, is very kind, helpful - and a great cook! The owner gave us a wealth of information and tips on things to do and see in the area. This was a case of genuinely warm Cretan hospitality!

We had an amazing stay at Kayousi Villa. The house is absolutely huge, beautiful and has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday. The pool was amazing and the views were absolutely stunning. We loved the peaceful location and the village was lovely too. There was plenty of space to relax and enjoy ourselves, and the whole villa felt like a real home away from home. We would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it!

We loved our stay here! The layout of the bedrooms, kitchen and pool was perfect for our group of friends. The pool area is great with amazing views. It’s very relaxed and peaceful.

Beautiful house and facilities, fantastic pool and terraces

This was easy the best accommodation ever. There owner was so kind. The location is fantastic, the house is so comfortable, clean and beautiful.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The villa is well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and a truly wonderful person. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We had the most wonderful stay at Harkias Villa! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. We arrived in the late afternoon and were greeted by the owner, showed around and there was a fruits basket, a bottle of wine, olive oil and a big salad all for us. Communication was excellent as well and all our questions answered very quickly. The views from the villa are breathtaking and it is a perfect place to relax and switch off. There are lovely walks nearby too. There is a little taverna by the church in Harkia village where we had dinner on the first night, which was really handy so we didn’t have to drive further. We just walked to the village from the villa. I highly recommend Harkias villas.

Our flight been delayed and we landed in Herakilon at midnight. By the time we collect the car and drive to the villa time was almost 2am. Jason welcome us with no expectations from us to do this that late. He welcome us with home made Wine and Raki and traditional Greek cheese. He showed us around the villa. Jason is very kind and genuine Person. He made our stay so comfortable. He gave us fresh vegetables from his own organic garden. We couldn't ask for more.
