We loved everything about Kapsaliana Village Hotel - it’s absolutely stunningly restored and a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, the pool etc . The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant served delicious food and wine and the breakfast was exceptional ! We also very much enjoyed a visit to Arkadi monastery and the hike back to the hotel . We can’t wait to go back to Kapsaliana !!

Extremely peaceful setting. The property was immaculately clean and the host had made it homely with little touches here and there. We were welcomed by the host, Irini, who was friendly and warm. She had made sure we had the shopping essentials already in the fridge and also surprised us with pizza and beer upon our arrival. Upon leaving the property, Irini and family greeted us to say goodbye and were so kind and thoughtful-thank you, Irini and family. A truly special first holiday as a family of 3 (we have a 4 month old baby). It was perfect.

Evina was an exceptional host who made sure to attend to any needs. Throughout our stay, we were provided with fresh eggs, olive oil, fruit, coffee; wine and raki, amongst other things. We got married during our stay and returned to the villa the day after our wedding to find a bottle of fizz, a cake and rose petals which was a lovely surprise! The location of the villa was excellent as it was not too far from Rethymnon but far enough to be peaceful. There was an excellent supermarket not too far from the villa which Evina recommended on the day we arrived.

We absolutely loved this place! Not only were views incredible and they gave us a free room upgrade as the hotel wasn’t busy, but It felt more like a homestay than a hotel. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice, caring and up for a chat. The homemade food was delicious and the homemade Raki was incredible! Thank you so much Elia Meronas team for our memorable stay in the mountains!

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. It's not large, which adds to its charm, and the staff were simply fantastic. The beach is stunning, with direct access from the hotel – no need to cross any roads. The breakfasts were amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options. It's conveniently located close to Rethymno, making it easy to explore the area. The spa was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend booking a private room with a sauna and Turkish bath. My teenage daughters absolutely loved it. All in all, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.

George and the rest of the guys were fantastic. The hotel and rooms were spotless. Fresh breakfast every morning. The location was perfect for us, 10 minutes walk to the centre of the old town. I would highly recommend the mojito's beside the pool!!

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide and diverse selection of options. The hotel was smaller than I expected, which actually gave it a very cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The room layout was more open than anticipated (as shown in the photo), which was ok for us, but could be a factor to consider while booking. The heating worked perfectly, definitely a big plus since we visited in February. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay.

Casa Gaga is beautiful. The décor is contemporary and stylish, and I adored the little courtyard with the plunge pool. It felt like a Moroccan riad! The owner was very helpful and charming. Nothing was too much trouble. He gave great restaurant recommendations – I was just sorry my stay wasn't longer so I could have enjoyed them all! Its location in the Old Town is perfect. The bed was huge and super comfy. I loved my stay here.
