Extremely peaceful setting. The property was immaculately clean and the host had made it homely with little touches here and there. We were welcomed by the host, Irini, who was friendly and warm. She had made sure we had the shopping essentials already in the fridge and also surprised us with pizza and beer upon our arrival. Upon leaving the property, Irini and family greeted us to say goodbye and were so kind and thoughtful-thank you, Irini and family. A truly special first holiday as a family of 3 (we have a 4 month old baby). It was perfect.

Evina was an exceptional host who made sure to attend to any needs. Throughout our stay, we were provided with fresh eggs, olive oil, fruit, coffee; wine and raki, amongst other things. We got married during our stay and returned to the villa the day after our wedding to find a bottle of fizz, a cake and rose petals which was a lovely surprise! The location of the villa was excellent as it was not too far from Rethymnon but far enough to be peaceful. There was an excellent supermarket not too far from the villa which Evina recommended on the day we arrived.

Where do I start ?!?!?! So many words and warm feelings come to mind to describe our stay at this hotel! Unforgettable vacation! Impeccable service from the word I-M-P-E-C-C-A-B-L-E!!!! Such a kind and helpful staff right down to room service! This is the fifth island we visited, but nowhere have I met such kind people! Briefly about the hotel. The area of the hotel is very small, but a huge advantage, it’s its own beach! New! Clean! Modern! Nothing makes your vacation as amazing as choosing the right hotel! And we were lucky! The place is just awesome! What would have made it even more of a killer stay: a sandy beach rather than stoney one. It didn’t stop us as we bought slippers and just enjoyed the sea. Another watch-out: in August it is very windy and for two days it was forbidden to swim because of the powerful waves. But again, just a fact of life and nothing could have prevented us from enjoying the superb surroundings! Thank you so much for your attention, care, hospitality, we will definitely be back !!!!!!!!!

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide and diverse selection of options. The hotel was smaller than I expected, which actually gave it a very cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The room layout was more open than anticipated (as shown in the photo), which was ok for us, but could be a factor to consider while booking. The heating worked perfectly, definitely a big plus since we visited in February. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay.

I have been staying in Casa di Gaga on a short vacation trip and the choice turned out to be perfect. The apartment contains everything needed for a short- and medium-term trip, including a kitchen with all amenities and even a Nespresso coffee machine, ironing kit for clothes, full bathroom set and everything is kept in pristine, mint condition. The apartment has been spotless clean on the day of arrival. The location is in the middle of Rethymno old town, so once you set a foot out of the building, you are surrounded by history and very authentic experience during that very moment. The host has been very warm and kind-hearted and ready to help anytime. I am very thankful for the reception and the hospitality. The memories that this trip has gifted are priceless, and I truly hope to return again sometime in the future. Very well worth visiting and I give my highest recommendation.
