We stayed for three days at NILUH Private Pool Villas Ubud, and it truly felt like a honeymoon spot. The villa has a private pool, a huge and incredibly fluffy bed, and breakfast delivered straight to the deck every morning. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, always checking in to see if everything was good or if we needed anything. They also helped us book a private driver for the airport on our way back, and we were able to pay by credit card instead of cash, which was a nice surprise. Getting around is best done by scooter, like most places in Indonesia, but we had no issues using Grab either. Cars can't reach the villa directly, so they drop you off about two blocks away. Since we didn't have heavy luggage, this was never an issue, and the staff even messaged us in advance with a pickup point and someone waiting there with a scooter to help with our bags. Everything about it was smooth and stress free. The area itself is quiet, surrounded by rice fields and other villas, with a few good restaurants within walking distance for lunch or dinner. Just bring a flashlight or use your phone light at night, since some streets don't have lighting. That said, the area feels very safe overall. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud who's looking for a relaxing, romantic stay.
