The location is excellent for anything you would want to do in the Hilo area. It is close to restaurants, supermarkets, parks with walking trails & nature, and also 30 minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park entrance. Unfortunately, Coconut Island Beach was closed due the access bridge being damaged by construction equipment. On-site covered parking was a plus, as was access to a laundry area. 3 bedrooms plus a daybed, and 1 full bath plus a half bath gave plenty of space. Jade was able to accommodate our late check-out request. Overall, an excellent experience, and we hope to return soon!

Very clean, plenty of space. The location was easy to reach and was a great staging point for visiting most of the central east coast of the Big Island. The neighbors were generally quiet and friendly. We felt safe here as well. From this location it was a bit far for a walk to downtown, so that’s sort of exaggerated in the title of the property. Access to coffee shops, drug stores, supermarkets, etc. was all very quick via car.

What did we like about the rental? EVERYTHING! The owner, Holly, is so gracious and attentive. The rental is newly renovated and gorgeous, very comfortable, and well appointed. The setting is tranquil and in a nice, safe neighborhood. The place was absolutely perfect for our needs. If ever we're back on the big island, we will definitely be staying here!

In a nice quiet area. Beautiful windows to open from top or bottom for air flow and allowed us to listen to the rain. Lots of space and easy access. Plenty of ceiling fans and AC in rooms- although it does blow over the bed so made it a bit difficult to breath since it dried out throats out a bit. The decor on the table was super cute. It felt weird destroying it to eat. Kitchen had some good solid foundations we were able to have a few great family meals without needing to buy the foundations to cook.
