This place is very recommended if you want a calm naturalistic place to stay.

The room was clean with 3 beds. You live on the second floor and have a huge balcony. The family is very helpful and inviting, you become soon a friend, they recommend resturants and local places to go. They speak English and Italian. The property is a cute little self sustained studio apartment, exactly like the picture. Everything seemed brand new and was neatly decorated. The owners were super nice, very accommodating! Super helpful staff and stunning views at the property! FYI to anyone using public transport: You get dropped off about 1km from the property but it is up a gravel hill so if you have suitcases or heavy bags you'll have to negotiate with some of the drivers to take you up (a 4WD is best) or you arrange with the accommodation in advance they can help you with this as there isn't always drivers around. The staff at the property are super helpful and they'll be talking with you on WhatsApp before you arrive so you won't be stuck. Being up the gravel path also means you are in a good spot to start the trek to Valbone if you are planning to do it. We started from our accommodation, went to the view point and then returned to Theth and it was incredible!

With sea views, Alex's House Shirokë is situated in Shkodër and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar and garden. We have arrived at the accomodation just at sunset, and the view was magnificent. Skoder lake, behind the mountains with the sounds of the wildlife at the lake, truly wonderful. The owner was very kind, attentative, hospitable, she even brought us some wine and strawberries one night. The terrace has some comfortable seating possibilitites and it is quite nice to spend the evening there with the view. The villa was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, good wifi connection. Be aware, only cash is accepted, but euros/leks are both fine. The breakfast was also a big portion and very tasty. We loved our stay here, and would not hesitate to come back.
