What a diamond in taming. There’s not too many properties that take you aback. The owners had renovated the shack exceptionally, the quality of linen, bedsheets, quilts, pillows was exceptional. The percale thread count was beyond 1000, some of the finest linen I’d ever slept on! The privacy of the property was great, tall growing cane on one side, a running creek on the other. Birds and other wildlife friendly and warming. Friendly hosts, even when making a late booking, easy to get along with and most helpful. The LED lights outside appeared to activate on movement - these were a wonderful touch to the end of a long day.

Our highlight was to find two koalas in the tree in front of the house. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen fully equipped. There's also a big pattio in the garden, where we could relax and eat in the shade. We loved waking up to the sound of birds. It's just a short walk to Picnic Bay beach, which has a stinger net. This is also where the bus stops, so it's easy to travel to Nelly Bay or other parts of the island. The owners are very lovely and helpful.
