Set in Heidesee, Brandenburg region, Ferienbungalows am Wolziger See is situated 50 km from East Side Gallery. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. This was a very comfortable small bungalow in a super peaceful and green location, practically in the woods close to the lake. We kept bicycle next to the bungalow and it was a great starting point for excursions. It had all we needed, and three beds were all comfortable (one in a common area but it was Ok).

Kitchen equipment allows you to be fully autonomous in cooking. All the more that in 5 minutes by car, a choice of grocery shops. We mostly cooked ourselves, but also tried the hotel breakfast in a neighbouring building - super high quality and varied local food, highly recommended for those who do not cook themselves. Very pleasant staff, responded quickly to our requests, at check-in everything was carefully explained, gave useful advice on how to spend time better, check-in and check-out went smoothly. Next to the hotel is a boat station, from where we went on a trip along the picturesque canals of Spree, which is definitely a must thing when visiting this place. In the courtyard of the house it was possible to barbecue, which we did with pleasure. We are glad we chose this hotel - it was a wonderful holiday.

Wonderful calm location with low light pollution, exactly what I was looking for. As for the house: good heating, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, good lighting and media setup. The host quickly replied to messages. Would absolutely come back.

Set in Vetschau, 23 km from Staatstheater Cottbus and 23 km from Spremberger Street, Floatinghouses Spreewald offers barbecue facilities and air conditioning. The place was created for vacation rental, and it is great for that. Around 10 or 15 floating houses compose the complex; they are all close to each other, but it is possible to create your privacy since all the windows have blinds. Apart from that, the kitchen is well-equipped and well-planned, as everything (the dining room and living room) is connected. The deck is nice and has a simple table, some chairs, and an umbrella. Good for sunbathing and diving in the lake. The weather was pretty good, but the water was still cold. Hahaha! Rooms were excellent, beds were comfortable, and the pillows, although pretty big, were soft. Same for the blankets. It is a very good place to spend some time with family and friends. You're gonna have to use the car for everything, but all the places that matter are close, within a 15-minute range.

Offering an outdoor pool, Kauperhof is located in Burg / Spreewald in the Brandenburg Region, 19 km from Cottbus and half an hour from Tropical Islands water park. Top facilities, super friendly staff, easy instructions for arrival and use of things like fireplace and sauna. All round quality complex. We used the sauna multiple times and even saw deer pass by as we were in it!
