Featuring barbecue facilities and views of city, Les Maisons du Conflent, maisons familiales en pierre au coeur des remparts is a recently renovated holiday home located in Villefranche-de-Conflent,... we knew everything would be lovely when we met Arnaud and Anny in the town parking area. Warm, welcoming and helpful, they showed us everything we needed to know about the flat, which made our stay easy and comfortable. The two bedroom flat has one bedroom, living room and bathroom upstairs, and one bathroom, kitchen and toilet downstairs. There are laundry facilities and Anny and Arnaud provide the soap, and adequate toiletries, as well as welcoming coffee ingredients. The apartment is brightly lit, beds are firm and bedding warm and comfortable. The furniture is of high quality. The rat-in kitchen is cosy and we enjoyed spending time there. I would recommend this for anyone with a family, or for a small group.

Casa lo Sastre - Jasa is a detached holiday home situated in Jasa in the Aragon Region and is 25 km from Valles Occidentales Natural Park. The unit is 30 km from Jaca. Everything was ready for our arrival, house was already warm, even hot. A lot of things to visit in walking distance, we stayed only 3 days, and it was not enough - we were able to make late check out in the afternoon. Easy to park the car just in front of the house.

Featuring free WiFi, Masia Can Constans is located in Queralbs, a 25-minute drive from the ski lift. This property offers holiday homes surrounded by nature, plus a shared garden and terrace. We went for a winter hiking trip from Ribes de Freser to Puigmal and stayed here in Queralbs for one of the nights of our hikes. It’s a lovely and cosy stay with incredible views over the mountains. With the cold temperatures, the fire place was a very welcome part of the living room. The hostess, Magna, was incredibly kind and even though my Spanish (or Catalan) isn’t the best - it was easy to communicate with each other! Highly recommend staying here if you are around the area.

Casa Mauri is impressively situated on a rocky outcrop above the town of Tremp, providing magnificent views of mountains and lakes. The views, the coziness of the house, the kindness of the owners.

Featuring mountain views, Casa Batit is located in Bizkarreta, 5 km from River Erro, in the province of Navarra. It offers a small shared garden with BBQ and free WiFi. Our host was very helpful and personable even though she only spoke Spanish and we do not. Room was basic but comfortable. One of our first good nights sleep on the Camino. Shared bathroom was only for a few people so we had no problem using the facilities. There are only a few small cafes in town and dinner was not offered by the host so we cooked for ourselves. The kitchen was well equipped and we were excited to have our own coffee pot in the morning. It was very much like being a guest in someone’s home in an idyllic country village.
