They even invited us to have dinner with them and some of the other guests. It was a really nice experience. The room we stayed in was clean and big. The property included a lot of forest area and trails which was great for our dog.

Situated 31 km from Sarlat-la-Canéda Train Station, 6.5 km from Lascaux and 5.2 km from Lascaux IV, Gîtes du Chêne Vert offers accommodation set in Montignac. We had an amazing stay with our dog! The place is really special, the chalet is very modern and clean, also extremely well equipped. The views to the woods are outstanding, there is a lot of privacy and comfort. Every night we could hear the owls in the woods and enjoy the stars. I would say, it far exceeded our expectations!

Ma Cabane à Sarlat, a property with barbecue facilities, is situated in Sarlat-la-Canéda, 50 km from Monkey Forest, 26 km from Lascaux, as well as 49 km from Rocamadour Sanctuary. We had an incredible time in this lovely cottage in a beautiful location. It is quiet and peaceful and within walking distance of the historic town of Sarlat. The outside dinning area provided a wonderful place to enjoy a meal! We were so cozy and comfortable there, we dream of returning. It was so awesome we just wanted to move in. Severine was a gracious and helpful hostess who went out of her way to ensure our stay was pleasant.

Situated in the centre of Sarlat-la-Canéda, Maison de Charme dans la Cité features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Maison de Charme dans Cité in Sarlat-la-Canéda, France, in October of 2021. The owner/operator, Herve, helped us get settled in this three-story, medieval house right in the middle of the “old town” surrounded by other 700-year-old buildings, and showed us where we could park our car (with no irksome parking fees) a short distance up the hill. We stayed in Sarlat for a week, using our wonderful house as our base of operations for explorations of the Dordogne region, and cooked many meals in its well-appointed kitchen. We felt right at home, with privacy when we wanted it, yet only a few minutes walk from main street, Rue de la Republique in old town Sarlat. We visited the Sarlat market three times during our short stay and having our rental close by to unload groceries was godsend if you love to shop. This facility could not be improved upon and exceeded our expectations for a house rental. Our highest recommendation for any traveler looking for a spacious and perfect Sarlat accommodation! Tina and John are so lovely, and helpful, made me feel so welcome. my room was perfect: tastefully decorated, attention to detail, comfortable. and lunch (I brought my own) and breakfast the next morning on the big terrace with the montgolfieres rising on the horizon was stunning. Roque-Gageac is a busy town but le Coin Tranquille seems far away from the hustle and bustle and yet, in ten minutes you can be down in the midst of it all.
