My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful, newly built villa as the first guests. The house is very bright, lovely decorated and very spacious. It's situated directly on the stunning white sand beach with a wonderful view of the turquoise ocean and nearby little islands. It has two bedrooms, well well-equipped kitchen and large living areas. We were warmly welcomed by a manager at the harbour. All the transportation, boat trips to the islands and the car rental were also easily arranged for us by the owner. The villa is situated in the heart of the main village, so you have easy access to the shops and local warnings. You can watch the fishermen in the morning and easily blend with the local people who are always incredibly friendly.

We wanted somewhere different to spend Christmas and came across Valhalla house online, the house was as amazing as it looks in the pictures and was right on the beach that you have to yourself! The house was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed - water, towels, cooking facilities etc! As the island was quite remote we were struggling to find how to get there and get around but Marcelo, the host, went above and beyond to help us out with flights and ferries. His communication was great, and he gave us some great food recommendations as well as a contact for surf lessons, which we all really enjoyed on Christmas day, and was just so helpful with all of the questions we had! Marcelo also put us in touch with a local, Dolman, who drove us to and from the airport, even though the roads were bad he made it so easy for us to get around by providing bikes at a really good price. Overall we had an amazing stay at Valhalla and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing time on a paradise island, surrounded by local culture, beautiful beaches and lots surfing!!

The location is fantastic, the host is fabulous! direct access to the lake for swimming. 2 bedrooms, atlhough in the description it looks that there is only one, but there are 2. Do not hesitate to book! The house is very clean also. We had a great time here!

Besplatan WiFi je dostupan. everything was nice. clean, staffs polite & helpful. near river, calm & ideal for people who need some peace from the city. we need to ride motorcycle with the staff (provide by the villa) about 10 minutes & walk around 20 minutes to reach the villa. worth it because of the view

Objekt Magpie homestay & jungle trekking especially for guest trekking with us smješten je u gradu 'Bukit Lawang' te sadrži besplatan WiFi i vrt s terasom i pogledom na vrt. We had an amazing stay at Magpie. Ansia organized everything for us, a private transfer from Medan Airport to Bukit Langwang, 3 days of jungle trekking and a spontaneous decision to go to lake Toba instead of back to Medan. The food was really delicious and she accommodated all our wishes and requests. The trekking was a wonderful experience with our guides Ronnie and Nasir. We saw a lot of animals, even the big male orang utan. Had comfortable mattresses in the camps at night and a lot of great food. All in all a great place to stay in Bukit Lawang and do the jungle trekking with. Everyone had a lot time and we loved talking with everyone. Made us really feel like we’re guest in your home.
