A recently renovated property, A Ridosso dei Sassi is set in Matera near Matera Cathedral, MUSMA Museum and Tramontano Castle. The facilities were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very attentive and willing to provide information. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Soggiorno Lucano. The location is fantastic—peaceful yet conveniently close to the heart of town. One of the biggest pluses was the private parking, which made arriving and getting around so much easier. The unit itself was spotless and clearly very well maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful!! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

If you want to experience authentic Matera vibe than you should definitely stay in La perla del tufo. The apartment is huge, walls and ceiling built from limestone (tufo), with beautiful interior design. Nothing is missing here, super clean, perfectly located and free parking is a huge bonus if you are driving to Matera. Roberto, the owner, was a star of the day. Besides his limited knowledge of English he managed to explain to us everything that we needed to know. If we ever come back to Matera we will definitely stay again in La perla del tufo.
