A recently renovated property, A Ridosso dei Sassi is set in Matera near Matera Cathedral, MUSMA Museum and Tramontano Castle. There was nothing to complain about. We were satisfied with everything. As we travelled during the low season, we paid a little (in comparison with July-August in Italy). And we got a great location, plenty of space, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and a full kitchen equipment

I had a wonderful stay at Soggiorno Lucano. The location is fantastic—peaceful yet conveniently close to the heart of town. One of the biggest pluses was the private parking, which made arriving and getting around so much easier. The unit itself was spotless and clearly very well maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful!! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Le 2 Gravine nei Sassi is situated in the Sassi di Matera district of Matera, 400 metres from Casa Grotta nei Sassi, less than 1 km from Matera Cathedral and a 11-minute walk from MUSMA Museum. The apt was very unique. When we first arrived we were a little concerned of the street, other places seemed to need work. After opening the wooden door to ur place we were very pleasantly surprised. Great apt in the rocks. Right near by there is a little alley with amazing views of the old city , quite a surprise to discover it Parking was a little walk away and limited but we did not need our car so left it parked the whole time we were there.

Close to everything in Matera. 5 minute walk to center. From there you can venture all the side streets and to old part of Matera. Very beautiful at night. Very comfortable for us, a family of 4. Host saved us a spot for our car when we arrived. Very hot when we were there, but place has air conditioning, which kept us cool for comfy sleep.

La perla di tufo is set in Matera, 500 metres from Palombaro Lungo, less than 1 km from Matera Cathedral, as well as a 16-minute walk from MUSMA Museum. Private parking is available on site. The host was very very kind . The cleaness was outstanding . Bed was comfortable.everything was so close to go around . Sassi was only 7 minutes walking. Beautiful house .thankyou Antonio ;);)

The level of cleanliness and attention to detail were suberp. Highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for something affordable yet good quality and comfortable. The free parking behind an electric gate was appreciated.

Set in Matera, 800 metres from Matera Cathedral and less than 1 km from MUSMA Museum, Lo scorcio sul Barisano offers air conditioning. Cant find one little thing that we didnt like. Location - amazing, 500m from the garage, 20 steps away from amazing panoramic view of Matera. Apartment is gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. We couldnt have asked for more. Breakfast is tipical Italian with coffee, cornetto and biscuits.

L'angolo di Cinzia has a terrace and is situated in Matera, within just 1.9 km of Convent of Sant' Agostino and 1.9 km of Matera Centrale Train Station. We liked the fact that the host greeted us personally on our arrival. He reserved a parking space for us and made sure that we had everything organised, including breakfast. He even suggested two very good restaurants.

Excellent location 400m from train station.. 50m from main square and old town. But the apartment is absolutely exceptional.. beautiful.. like new .brunette met me outside and brought me into apartment.. huge high ceilings. A massive bedroom with balcony and table and chairs to enjoy view.. a middle room with couch and all information leaflets. Then a brilliant kitchen which had everything to self cater. All 3 rooms had fantastic air conditioning. A power shower in bathroom and 2 sinks. The whole apartment seems to be recently renovated. Pure spotlessl. I have travelled to Italy last 18 years and stayed In maybe 50 different apartments but this was the best by far. The host brunette was very helpful. Thank you. Absolutely 10 out of 10 for this apartment. THE BEST. MAGNIFICENT. BELISSIMO
