The view of the ocean was truly spectacular, it felt almost like we were in the ocean, with just the sound of the waves.

At Cottage Morinokokage, guests can rent out a cottage with a hammock. Free WiFi is available in the guest rooms. Beautiful and comfortable cottages! You can preorder nice Japanese bentos for breakfast and lunch which is great for hiking. The family who run the place were very nice and helpful. They warned me of my ferry cancellation due to bad weather and refunded my first night at the last minute. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Set in Kirishima, the recently renovated 貸切温泉宿 Shiny inn Kirishimaシャイニーイン霧島 offers accommodation 3.6 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 17 km from Ebino Plateau. Everything! Spacious, super clean, well, wonderful view, the owner was responsive and super nice, helped us with anything we needed. Everything about it was so convenient and comfortable. So many outlets, great Wi-Fi, washing machine, and of course, the highlight - a private onsen! Really a wonderful stay.

温泉の別荘 久遠霧島 is located in Kirishima. With free private parking, the property is 4.1 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and 18 km from Ebino Plateau. We loved the onsen bath, comfortable and well equipped house and the large decking and views.

Situated in Kagoshima, less than 1 km from Kagoshima Chuo Station and 3.9 km from Kagoshima Station, Guest House Fu-ga offers air conditioning. Felt comfortable and peaceful. A great place for a family with kids to experience Kagoshima.

Situated in Amami and only 2.1 km from Higashi Beach, Buena Vista Villa Amami features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We were off-season in Amami for our honeymoon, and had the best time! The cabin is new and well organized. There's even a glimpse on the sea from it. The host was really nice and available. There's everything you need to make breakfast / simple meals, and also a firepit / bbq. Thank you!

This was truly a home away from home. The house is beautiful and comfortable with many practical details that are well thought through and made our stay extremely smooth and enjoyable. The location is perfect to explore the island, in a quiet village but not completely isolated. The instructions and many recommendations were highly appreciated. Would have happily stayed longer!

Prompt response! House was very well equipped with added touches to enhance the experience. Host prepared us with detailed information for parking nearby. Once we entered, we were greeted with a basket of snacks and coffee/ tea packets. Toiletries, including facial care products and sanitary napkins were provided. Kitchen was very well equipped. There were even frozen mugs in the freezer for beer! We had fun with the Nintendo switch at night!! The stay was exceptionally pleasant! Thank you very much for the hospitality!!
