This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. A special mention here for Avishka who was exceptional

Like you can spend the entire evening roaming around in the backyard where our host has been growing all sorts of fancy stuff ( strawberries, passion fruit, oranges… you name it). To top it all you get to play with Simba(shyest feline you’ll ever meet). I wish we were there for a few more days but definitely recommend it to everyone who is going to Nuwara Eliya

Huge room, huge bed, huge bathroom, very clean, exceptional staff. Beautiful sunset and valley view from the whole property. Excellent dinner for really affordable price and enormous breakfast with so many choices. Swimming pool within the beautiful garden, but it was a bit chilly. Sauna ready at request and games room to mingle with the rest of the guests. What else to say. I just wish we spent more time at this place. If you travel between Kandy and Ella, this is the place to stay.

The Bungalow itself offered breathtaking views that made our stay even more memorable. It was spotless, with everything we needed to feel at home—well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings.Highly recommend place.

Family-run hotel with spotless rooms, a nice view, and a pleasant breakfast, we felt very comfortable during our stay. You have to remove your shoes before go in the the property which is very nice. They helped us to arrange taxi and tuktuk.

We spent two nights at Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya and absolutely loved it. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of endless tea fields, and the views are just stunning, it feels like a little world of its own. What made our stay so memorable was the incredible staff. From start to finish, they made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for, nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to the reception and wait staff, as well as Chef Guiamme, who not only cooked us the most delicious meals but also took the time to share his recipes for Coconut Jam, Dhal, and Onion Sambal. We can’t wait to try them at home and share them with our friends and family. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra personal. We were kindly upgraded for our stay and the room was very comfortable and cozy, and we both slept so well and got the perfect recharge after exploring. We also loved the facilities — the heated pool was perfect after a day of adventuring, the mini golf is a nice touch and the walks around Langdale’s estate were peaceful and beautiful. We also used the laundry service which did a truly excellent job and refreshed our belongings for our onward journey. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka, and we’ll look back on it fondly. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and truly outstanding service, Langdale is the place to stay.
