Cabana is truly amazing, every little detail is thought through. Gorgeous bathroom, with bathtub overlooking the little town and the mountains. Facilities- top class! Better than some 5* Hotels. But all of that would be nothing, without amazing Host, who met us with a biggest smile and was there every time we needed something. Food set up, quality is out of this world. My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

Everything, right from the property, room, location, surroundings, cleanliness to a very friendly staff. Our stay at Oliphant Boutique Villa by Amaya was nothing short of magical. The photos online simply do not do justice to how stunning the property is in reality—the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings, the lush gardens, and that charming old-world elegance seamlessly blended with all modern comforts. Despite delays in our check-in due to heavy rains, the staff were patiently waiting for us with warm smiles. From the very first moment, they made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. Every member of the team was humble, polite, and incredibly respectful. A special shoutout to Laxman, who took care of us throughout our stay. His attentiveness and kindness truly made a difference. We also travelled with our 5-year-old, who is quite picky with food, yet the kitchen staff went out of their way to prepare dishes he would enjoy. This level of personal care was deeply appreciated. The food was exceptional—far beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend opting for half board or full board, because every meal was a delight. We stayed for four days and honestly wished we had booked even more. Oliphant was the standout stay of our entire Sri Lanka trip. The peaceful atmosphere, stunning views, lovely heritage charm, and world-class hospitality make it a place we would return to without a second thought. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya—Oliphant Boutique Villa is an experience you won’t forget!
