Amazing three-story villa above Lake Gregory, a short walk from the center, but in a quiet area, surrounded by a tea plantation. The host is a very nice gentleman who speaks excellent English and will give you tips on good restaurants in town, recommend trips and prepare a delicious breakfast. I definitely highly recommend.

The cabana itself is wonderful. It's beautifully decorated, spacious but cosy, and truly a special place to stay. But what really made our visit unforgettable was how the owner and staff supported us during unexpected extreme weather conditions during Cyclone Ditwah that affected the whole island. Because of floodings and landslides, all roads leaving Nuwara Eliya were closed and we couldn’t leave town for several days. The situation felt surreal and completely unforeseen, but the staff took incredible care of us. They checked on us constantly, kept us updated, cooked us amazing food and did everything possible to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. Their kindness and dedication went beyond what you normally expect from a hotel. The rooms in the main house were also great, and it was one of the only places in town with a working internet connection, which allowed us to stay in touch with home and follow the situation. A special mention goes to the owner, who was extremely supportive. When the roads partially reopened, he personally checked the roads early in the morning and went into town to find locals willing to drive us down safely. To give us extra reassurance, he even drove ahead of our taxi himself. We can fully recommend The Edgware to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya. Not only is it a beautiful place to stay, but the people make you feel genuinely cared for, even in the most challenging circumstances. Thank you again!

The owner was very supportive and friendly. The whole stay here was a great experience.we were served with breakfast and fruits which was cultivated in this own garden. Since there were no heaters, the owner made arrangements to make the bed rooms more cozy with three blankets to keep ourselves warm even without our request which was really comforting. Overall, this is a very nature oriented, cozy,comfy place for a stay at Nuwara Eliya for a reasonable price. The rooms, kitchen,living room and the bathroom was extremely clean like no one else ever used. I highly recommend this place for your stay.

Everything about this accomodation is perfect and the view from the room is breath taking, highly reccomended if looking for a place near Nuwara Eliya (20 mins by tuktuk). The staff are super nice, the place is very clean and the food is also delicious, The pool is heated and.the pool table is a nice addition also.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

Hakgala Botanical Garden noktasına yaklaşık 13 km mesafede yer alan ve dağ manzarası sağlayan Luxe Wilderness - Private Villas, Free Breakfast, 2km from City Centre tesisi veranda ve kahve makinesi... Hayal ettiğimizin ötesinde bir konaklamaydı. Muhteşem manzarayı hiç bırakmak istemedik. Ev gayet temizdi. Herşey için teşekkürler

Nuwara Eliya şehrinin Lake Gregory semtinde bulunan Thuring's Holiday Bungalow tesisi, Gregory Gölü noktasına 1,1 km ve Hakgala Botanical Garden noktasına 7,4 km mesafededir. This hotel is clean and wifi works. Warm water comes out. I am very happy about that. It's cold on the day I stayed There are blankets, but it's even better to have a jacket. I stayed at this hostel for three nights because I liked it. It's on the second floor, so you can keep it safe. thank you so much :)

A very nice botique hotel which gives you feelings of a home. We have been to many botique hotels, but i think this is one of the best and was best part of our stay in Sri Lanka. Very amazing views of tea garden. The hotel is located in a quiet location and is only 5 minutes away from Nano Oya train station. All facilities were neat and clean. Very nice food and breakfast was amazing. We end up eating dinner there as well. Very nice food. They have a small golf club, a temperature controlled swimming pool, a tennis court. Morning views from dining areas are unbelievable.. A perfect get away for holidays.
