Wow, that was what we both said as soon as we arrived here. It's a beautiful and spacious house with a lovely view of the surrounding natural area with many bats flying around at night, which was amazing to see. We were greeted with welcome drinks and were happy that they arrved dinner until 10pm. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!

The house standard is higher than in any other location we've stayed in Sri Lanka. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The house is very well-maintained. The food was wonderful, service great. We had a very relaxing stay. It's a great base for exploring the region.

Located in Kandy, Mountbatten Bungalow- Thema Collection - Kandy welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and a spacious sun terrace. The grounds and the facilities are perfect. The chalet rooms are excellent and give you the feeling of being in the jungle. The staff, especially Chulan, are superb and happily arranged tours and hikes. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Tea Escape Holiday Villa . The entire villa is spacious, clean, and beautifully kept. It felt so homely and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The surroundings are calm and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Would happily come back

This place is magical: a beautiful house immersed in a lush garden, so harmonic and peaceful despite being close to the bustling streets of Kandy. The family owning the property are a lovely bunch who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, as well as the staff. The design is beautiful, and so is the food, tasty and delicious. I would have stayed longer if I had the opportunity! Cannot recommend this place enough.

The host and manager were wonderfully responsive and easy to deal with, ensuring seamless communication and check‑in. From the charming decor to the tranquil ambiance, it truly felt like home and left me feeling refreshed and grateful. The meals were another highlight - every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, adding a warm and satisfying touch to the stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable retreat with great hospitality and great food.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Tea Heritage features accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. We booked Tea Heritage after seeing how beautiful the property looked online and how reasonably priced it was, and it exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Communication with the host was excellent even before we arrived. We had a few specific requests, especially around my partner’s dietary needs, and the host was more than happy to accommodate everything. They were flexible, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay exactly how we wanted it. The food was a major highlight. We were served delicious home-cooked meals with a great variety of dishes tailored to our preferences, even accommodating last-minute requests without any hesitation. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself is spacious, private, and incredibly serene. It felt like a true escape into nature, surrounded by misty hills and peaceful views. We love outdoor experiences, and being offered a visit to a nearby organic farm was a wonderful bonus and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. We were also surprised with a candlelit dinner to celebrate our special occasion, which made our engagement even more magical. It was the perfect setting, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better place for such an important moment in our lives. A special mention to Palitha, who took great care of us throughout our stay, and to Dinu, the co-host and chef, who always made sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and well looked after, and not to Forget Thilina, the other co-host who was always available on the phone to coordinate everything. Their hospitality made a big difference. Amazing privacy, stunning views, a beautiful location, and heartfelt service. We absolutely loved our stay and are already looking forward to visiting again.

Kandy Nest Stay Home is set in the City Centre district of Kandy, 1.9 km from Sri Dalada Maligawa, 4.6 km from Bogambara Stadium and 4.7 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Fantastic place to stay. The family were so welcoming. They made us feel part of their family and couldn't do more for us. Breakfast was an absolute treat every morning and we ate several evening meals there as well. Amazing food. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. They were very knowledgeable of the area so lots of great information and advice about where to go and what to see. We felt very relaxed and very much enjoyed our stay with this wonderful family. Property is on a main road which made getting transport easy but a little noisy at times, however this didn't spoil our stay. Highly recommend staying here.
