This residence is exceptional. From arrival to departure all the staff were friendly willing to help and flexible. My partner and I enjoy an early coffee at our home and looked forward to something not Nescafe. Spoke to the kitchen guys, "no problem", 6am? No problem. Freshly brewed while I watched chopping of onions and grinding of fresh coconut. Nothing was a problem! Meals, hot, fresh tasty, varied. Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Nice pool liked by the children. Pretty garden. Second time in Sri Lanka and I guess I won't make it again in this life. Hopefully my children and their children will return to stay with the Surveyor's crew.

We had an amazing experience, everything was perfect. The colonial-style architecture, lush gardens, beautiful pool and peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a private retreat. Staff were warm and attentive, Highly recommended!

My stay at Tea Escape was genuinely memorable. The views are stunning and create such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious every day, and you can really taste the care that goes into each dish. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was spotless and well maintained. I’d happily return and definitely recommend it to others.

The host and manager were wonderfully responsive and easy to deal with, ensuring seamless communication and check‑in. From the charming decor to the tranquil ambiance, it truly felt like home and left me feeling refreshed and grateful. The meals were another highlight - every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, adding a warm and satisfying touch to the stay. We booked Tea Heritage after seeing how beautiful the property looked online and how reasonably priced it was, and it exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Communication with the host was excellent even before we arrived. We had a few specific requests, especially around my partner’s dietary needs, and the host was more than happy to accommodate everything. They were flexible, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay exactly how we wanted it. The food was a major highlight. We were served delicious home-cooked meals with a great variety of dishes tailored to our preferences, even accommodating last-minute requests without any hesitation. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself is spacious, private, and incredibly serene. It felt like a true escape into nature, surrounded by misty hills and peaceful views. We love outdoor experiences, and being offered a visit to a nearby organic farm was a wonderful bonus and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. We were also surprised with a candlelit dinner to celebrate our special occasion, which made our engagement even more magical. It was the perfect setting, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better place for such an important moment in our lives. A special mention to Palitha, who took great care of us throughout our stay, and to Dinu, the co-host and chef, who always made sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and well looked after, and not to Forget Thilina, the other co-host who was always available on the phone to coordinate everything. Their hospitality made a big difference. Amazing privacy, stunning views, a beautiful location, and heartfelt service. We absolutely loved our stay and are already looking forward to visiting again.

Fantastic place to stay. The family were so welcoming. They made us feel part of their family and couldn't do more for us. Breakfast was an absolute treat every morning and we ate several evening meals there as well. Amazing food. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. They were very knowledgeable of the area so lots of great information and advice about where to go and what to see. We felt very relaxed and very much enjoyed our stay with this wonderful family. Property is on a main road which made getting transport easy but a little noisy at times, however this didn't spoil our stay. Highly recommend staying here.
