Kandy Living Homestay bevindt zich in Kandy en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. Ons derde verblijf op onze reis en ook deze is een echte aanrader. Een verblijf aan de rand van Kandy stad, weg van de drukte dus, maar dicht bij alles. Wij zijn niet zo ‘stadsgezind’ maar konden deze reis niet maken zonder Kandy mee te pikken. De stad zelf vonden wij niet zo bijzonder, in tegenstelling tot waar we verbleven. Wat je ziet is wat je krijgt. Een super hartelijke host en haar team staan in voor de volledige ZEN ervaring. Een ongelooflijk mooi, charmant verblijf in de natuur. Omgeven door rijstvelden, vruchtenbomen, en een weelderige tuin. Ze zijn hierdoor zelfvoorzienend en dit weerspiegelt zich in hun ontbijt en niet te missen KOOKLES. Dit raad ik iedereen aan die graag de traditionele curry’s en lokale kookkunsten van Sri Lanka onder de knie wil krijgen. Daarnaast was de gehele accomodatie proper, comfortabel en een echte meerwaarde voor onze reis doorheen het land. Ook hier zou ik met veel plezier naar terugkeren. Een topverblijf met fantastische mensen.

Surveyor's Residence Bungalow beschikt over een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, en biedt accommodatie in Kandy met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op het zwembad. We had a lovely stay at the bungalow. It was peaceful, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The surroundings were serene, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

Kandy Fortress is gelegen in Kandy en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Kandy Museum ligt op 2,1 km van de vakantiewoning, en Sri Dalada Maligawa ligt 2,1 km verderop. First of all, it's a whole floor for you in a small house, so you a completely alone and will not meet anybody on your territory :) something I wasn't expecting for such a low price actually Secondly, the renovation/decoration is amazing. White walls and floor, clean and spaceful bathroom. Again, it was completely unexpected 😅 Landlady even offered me traffic-coupons for my SIM-card due to Wi-Fi wasn't working!

City Breeze Residence ligt op 1,4 km van het centrum van Kandy en biedt accommodatie met een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De villa beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. Constantly cooled by a refreshing breeze, this gorgeous residence on the hills, surrounded by nature & wildlife, including hornbills and the occasional monkeys, is located 10 min away from the town center, and at a 5 min walk from a supermarket with a small restaurant where you can order fresh local food. There are a few other restaurants around. The residence is accessible through a very steep road. Therefore, I would not recommend it to ppl with disabilities. The bright room is spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, clean sheets, and towels are provided. A mini refrigerator, iron and ironing board, as well as an electric kettle, are also provided. The bathroom is beautifully tiled but a bit narrow. It is, however, no problem for us. The rooms are surrounded by a balcony, with a lounge, dining room, and a viewpoint area for our enjoyment. You couldn't get a more caring owner: each day, he'll come to check that everything is alright. Each morning, he brings a delicious breakfast and a refreshing drink in the afternoon if we are there. He is a very kind-hearted man who cares deeply about your well-being and abt his rooms. He owns 2 big friendly dogs and 2 sweet kitties. We love it so much here that we extended our original 2 night stay by 2 weeks.

De Mountbatten Bungalow- Thema Collection - Kandy ligt in Kandy en biedt een buitenzwembad en een ruim zonneterras. Het heeft eigen kookgelegenheid en WiFi is gratis beschikbaar in alle ruimtes. Personeel is enorm vriendelijk. Chulan Gagana was onze persoonlijke gastheer en maakte onze experience nog beter dan verwacht.

Hebron Gardens House in Kandy biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Heel mooi guesthouse. Ruime, mooi ingerichte kamer met een grote badkamer. Er is een zwembad en een soort balkon met een zeer mooi uitzicht waar je in de avond kunt eten en in ochtend ontbijten met een sfeervol muziekje op de achtergrond. De eigenaars hebben een goede smaak. Alles is mooi ingericht, prachtige meubels. Lekker ontbijt met een mooi servies en avondeten was ook prima. Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding! Behulpzame mannen die alles regelden.Jammer dat we de grote leren stoel niet mee naar huis konden nemen:-)Botanische tuin is dichtbij (aanrader om met de tuk tuk te gaan want het verkeer in Kandy is erg chaotisch).jammer dat we niet langer konden blijven.

Lewella House Kandy a Tranquil Villa is gelegen in centrum van Kandy, en heeft accommodatie met een tuin, uitzicht op de tuin, en een gedeelde lounge en een terras. A perfect harmony with nature,the soothing, cool tones of the interior beautifully blend with the lush greenery outside. The spacious bedrooms and bathrooms add to the sense of comfort and tranquility. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully presented.

Tea Heritage bevindt zich in Urulewatta, op 11 km van Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens en 16 km van Treinstation Kandy, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en een buitenzwembad. We stayed at Tea Heritage for our honeymoon, and it truly felt magical. The setting is incredibly picturesque, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful views. Usually, hotels in Sri Lanka feel a bit outdated, but this property is brand new with a beautiful contemporary design. In Europe, a glass pavilion like this would easily cost a minimum of USD 2,000 per night — we feel so lucky to have found this gem for such a great price. The nature trail experience was unforgettable, with Jagath Nishantha and Vinoda doing a fantastic job explaining the flora, fauna, and history along the way. And the food — oh, the food! Dinushika’s mouthwatering dishes were the highlight of our stay; we loved every bite. The place is immaculate, spacious, and the huge swimming pool makes it even more special. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return.

Kandy Nest Stay Home is gelegen op 1,8 km van Kandy Museum en 1,9 km van Sri Dalada Maligawa, en biedt accommodatie op een centrale plek in Kandy. Perfect place to stay! We were lucky to spend almost one week there. 2 comfortable bedrooms, private bathroom, and a saloon appreciable to read or playing cards. Well situated, can go easily in city center walking or by bus. All the family is really super kind, taking care and making all they can for that we feel like at home… and it works! We felt like at our parent’s home. We highly recommand and we never say enough MERCI!

Rainbow Villa ligt in Mahiyangana. Er is gratis WiFi en privéparkeren op het terrein. My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.
