We stayed for a whole week and were very happy with everything. Air conditioners in both bedrooms and downstairs living area worked great which sometimes is an issue in other places we have stayed in Mexico. House is sort of right in the middle of El Cuyo and easy walking to everything. Nice outside area with plenty of shade when sitting outside. Host was easy to communicate with and helped with anything we asked about.

No problem parking right in front in the street. Really enjoyed the authenticity and care that was put into this historic building. It was like staying in a beautiful museum. And the location was perfect for walking the entire town and coming back for a dip in the pool when the weather got too hot in the afternoons. We debated coming to Izamal and it ended up being the most picturesque place on our entire trip.
