Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a rooftop pool, garden view and a balcony, QUINTA DA FAÍSCA - Agro Turismo is located in Favaios. wonderful location , the house surrounded by the beautiful vineyard , stunning view , I can hv a coffee in balcony enjoy the beauty of nature any time , watching sunset , even rainbow , modern comfortable design of the house , made me rather chill in the house than to go out . unexpected heart warming hospitality from the owner Fernanda , she’s so nice , treated guest with whole hearted , little roses every morning , u can see her thoughtful decoration in every corner of the house , delicious breakfast served in house every morning , tasty home made dinner ( by requested ) she n Sandra r wonderful chefs , we just felt like at home . we don’t hv car , she drove us to village f sightseeing , even asked me called her pick up us when we finish , she not even charge a cents , we really appreciated her helpful n friendly attitude , 3 days in Quinta Da Faisca , frankly i enjoyed so much , really reluctant to leave . just hope I can stay longer , if I travel to Portugal in future , this is the place I surely return .

Set 43 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle, Costa D'Ouro in Castelo de Paiva offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. Location was amazing after a trip to the city. Our daughter loved being able to walk to the beach and see the ducks. We did it 3-4 times a day. The location was nice if you have a car, being able to drive 30m-1hr to attractions didn’t bother us.

Set within 20 km of Douro Museum and 32 km of Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Castas do Douro offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tabuaço. Second trip to Castas do Douro, this time with friends. We rented both apartments and were (again) very happy with everything. Comfortable, beautifully renovated and with good A/C (considering the very high temperature outside).

Situated in Vila Real in the Norte Region region, Quinta da Laceira - Douro Valley - Alojamento Local has a balcony. The home is situated on a beautiful view hillside surrounded by grapevines. We were there for 3 nights. It is a family run agrotourismo, and they could not have been more welcoming. The house itself was spotlessly clean. Jorge welcomed us and showed us the property. We had the whole house to ourselves, with a complete kitchen. We decided to have our dinners at the Quinta, which was a good choice as the roads are curvy for our American driving style. We brought our own charcuterie one night, and another night we were able to have our dinner prepared by the Quinta owners. It was a delicious Portuguese meal from appetizers through fish and vegetables, steak and potatoes, desserts and wine. Amazing. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and walking the 2 mile rural lane with views all around. This is a special place, and we thank the family for sharing it with us!

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, 18 km from Longroiva Hot Springs and 42 km from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Casas da Barca offers air conditioning. We liked the personal approach and introduction of the house. And also helped us orient us in the town. Spacious, comfortable for the whole family. Kitchen fully equipped with basic ingredients for a breakfast. Washing mashine was also useful.

I cannot begin to express how good Helena and her home were. The facilities are in perfect condition and cleaned to perfection. You have everything you need. Multiple bathrooms, lots of towels, a wonderful jacuzzi, a great kitchen to cook in, a pool table in perfect condition, an honors bar with an excellent selection of wine and soft drinks, balconies. The list goes on and on. The breakfast Helena personally makes everyday is extraordinary. There is a very wide selection and more than enough food to carry you through lunch and provide an afternoon snack. But the best thing about this rental is Helena herself. She is charming, kind and caring in a special way. Even though I am older than her, it felt like I had my grandmother taking care of me. Her daughter Daniela is also very charming. Spending time talking to Helena was the highlight of our trip. I would recommend this worldclass rental to anyone. There is no way you could do better in Pinhao, Portugal or anywhere else in the world.
