The hosts were awesome and went out of the way to make us comfortable- picked us up in town and drove us back. We had a rest day here on our Camino and it was very rejuvenating. We enjoyed the sunset evenings on the rooftop terrace. The wife even brought us rice pudding for a treat and a complimentary bottle of wine. Because the host was willing to drop us off and pick us up in Valenca or Tui, we were able to do a lot in 2 days.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious with everything needed for our stay. While not actually in Guimaraes we used Uber (Bolt also available) to get to the town for just 5 Euros each way, which gave us a welcome break from driving. Although on quite a busy road, inside the apartment was peaceful and quiet. The host was easy to communicate with and excellent in answering any questions we had. All in all this was a very good place to stay.

Located in Porto, 400 metres from Music House, Boavista Luxury Villas provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Guests staying at this villa have access to a patio. They sent someone to show is the house and features upon check in. They gave us many recommendations for the area. Its a great extra touch. The house was very clean and spacious. The price was was fantastic!

Wonderful house in tiny village, decorated in rustic style, full of beautiful details, lovely terrace. Silence and tranquality around. At convenient distance from important tourist sites, but a car is a must.  The hosts deserve special recognition - we were really welcomed and hosted.  A stay worth remembering!

We were a trio of friends visiting the Douro region for the first time and this was a fantastic experience. Driving into the Quinta and opening the doors to the house was a dream come true for the beauty and peace and quiet of the vast vineyards. Breakfast was delivered daily to the house and we enjoyed lazing by the pool and walking around the estate. Fernanda hosted us for the winery walk and tasting and we ended up with several bottles of wine to take home. Thank you for the warmth and hospitality we felt at the Quinta. We hope to return soon.
