Even if we haven't discussed it prior to coming about breakfast, we have received it. The rooms were very spacious, equipped with everything that you may need. The host was lovely and very helpful. Boasting a garden and views of garden, Old Court is a holiday home set in a historic building in Curtea de Argeş, 30 km from Vidraru Dam. The houses were cute, the garden was well kept, overall this whole place felt wonderful, even the heavy storm we encountered overnight didn't scare us. I didn't expect to meet the best english speaking Romanian person here, but I have to say it was the only place where I didn't have to worry about being understood. The lady taking care of the place even gave us some recommendations about places to visit nearby. The lights made the garden feel magical, and the kittens wandering around were a huge plus.

Boasting free bikes, garden and views of mountain, LA LIVADA is located in Valea Danului, 29 km from Vidraru Dam. Lovely relaxing cottages place with amazing playground for kids, very helpful and kind host Victor, nice orchard with bio fruits. Highly recommended
