Great cottage on a farm. Great views over the hills, and right next to dartmore. Cottage is nicely furnished and we appreciated the Xmas decorations in the apartment, including a Christmas tree. My kids thought the bathroom was the nicest bathroom they have ever seen. You need to be prepared to drive down some nice small lane way's to get in and out. Cottage was nice and warm, and also has a fireplace. We also had some scones, jam, cream and wine provided on arrival, which was nice.

Lovely place. Very comfortable well-equiped, spacious and still so cosy ánd on the perfect location to start hiking from the front door. It was easy communicating with the friendly owner, Vanessa. We fell in love with Dartmoor and when we manage to come back, we would certainely stay here again.

The room with king bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless. The coffee and tea in the room were delicious. Breakfast was a welcome treat. The location, near Haytor, was perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing time with excellent food. The hotel is set within beautiful Dartmoor park with Haytor in the distance. We enjoyed really amazing food in the dining room for both breakfast and dinner, and and a relaxing bottle of wine in the lounge. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The price is a really great value.

There was no breakfast. The location was breathtakingly beautiful. The house was impeccable and spacious. Really well stocked. All amenities provided and of very good quality. The owner provided for drinks and biscuits on the house, which was a wonderful gesture.
