Offering a garden, Gîte La Richardière offers accommodations in Godbout. We don't often stay at B&B's -- and I NEVER take the effort to write a review, but this location warrants a review. However, given the location, there weren't many options. After a long hard drive, the owner made us very welcome. What a gem in a remote location. Excellent breakfast, we were given many good advices about local sites, food, ferry crossing etc. In talking to the local population, everyone had nothing but good comments about the owner. Would recommend to anybody that is looking for a place to stay within 100 miles of this location.

Hotel Motel Belle Plage overlooks St. Lawrence Bay, just 2 minutes' walk from the local ferry. It features a restaurant which specializes in fish and seafood. Location was excellent, beds were comfortable, the room clean. Great view of the St Lawrence River from our patio. The restaurant was excellent, if a bit pricey

Located in Matane and bordering the sea, this motel is about 0.6 mi from the F.A. Gauthier ferry. It features a heated seaside pool (June 24th to Labor Day) and free in-room WiFi. My husband and I were each traveling on a motorcycle and being able to park right in from of our room was a bonus. And the ocean view was spectacular.
