This downtown Nanaimo hotel overlooks the Inner Harbour and is across the street from the Seaplane Terminal. The hotel offers free WiFi and free parking. I really like that we could check in at 11a.m. , but it wasn't in their rules.

Campbell Cottage B&B is located in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo. Free WiFi access is available. Clean and tidy in a great location. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden. Our host Anthea was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Located just minutes away from the BC Ferry Terminal and Nanaimo city centre, this hotel features a free, deluxe continental breakfast and guestrooms with a balcony. Free WiFi is provided on site. The location is great and the room was clean and comfortable. They offer a continental breakfast but there isn't bread or eggs however they have enough for you to be satisfied ☺️.

Quality Inn is located in Nanaimo, within 12 km of Wildplay Element Park and 3.3 km of Petroglyph Park. Exactly what we were looking for. A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.

This Nanaimo property is located 5 minutes’ drive from Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. An on-site restaurant is available. Free Wi-Fi is included. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our tandem and changed our room to a ground floor room when we arrived. They also let us book in early which was much appreciated.
