Location location ! - loved walking with your dog. And we got a stellar view of Mt Cook without having to drive all the way up the other side of the lake.

Shearers quarters from 1900 given modern update but without losing any of the character. Crisp linen on really comfortable beds in absolute quiet. The drive there along a gravel road give the best views of Mt Cook that you will see. Kitchen modern and stocked like home Lovely meeting Alana and hearing about life on the farm and bringing up a family.. Wonderful.. Not to be missed.

Located Among the Southern Alps, Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook features views of Mount Cook, and is 656 feet from Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Center. An amazing hostel and location! It reminded me of the hostel in Liechtenstein - well cleaned and spacious for each person. Massive kitchen area with proper recycling bins. Absolutely loved the quiet area and access to the sauna was just amazing after the hikes! Great for stargazing too! The rooms had enough space for luggage storage and curtain to avoid disturbance. Haka house provided shower gels, shampoo and conditioner in all their bathrooms which was great!

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodations located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. Very spacious and modern with very well insulated rooms and bathroom. Didn’t feel cold at all even though it was 0 deg outside. I’m very impressed. A duck greeted us outside our door😊.
