McMinnville is a small town that has lots of comforts of a city. It has excellent wineries and tasting rooms, distilleries and breweries. It has excellent restaurants with exceptional service. Lodging options range from cozy to top notch. Outdoorsy? Lots of hiking options. Shopper? Great boutiques downtown.
Our favorite spots: Crescent Cafe for breakfast. Humble Spirit for farm-to-table offerings. Bierly Brewing for fresh baked goods in the morning (sourdough, bagels, donuts - all that happen to be gluten-free) and beer and yummy heart warming soup in the afternoon/evening.
We choose to wine taste at R Stuart (downtown McMinnville) - specializes in bubbly, so we had a bubbly flight. Saturday we chose Laurel Ridge Winery and Patricia Green Cellars (Carlton). Sunday was spirits at Ransom Spirits (Sheridan) and Cooper Mountain Vineyard (organic and biodynamic in Beaverton). Highly recommend all businesses.

Nice little artsy town with lots of attractions and good location for things in the surrounding area. Parking is a little hard to find, but not impossible and once you get parked, it is hassle free. I will visit there again.

During our visit we went to six wineries and had some very nice wine. Our favorite restaurant was the Goldon Valley Brewery restaurant which had great food and wine. We went to the Aviation and Space Museum which was very close to the hotel. Great place to visit for both adults and kids. For our next visit we will try to plan our trip better in terms of driving. Wineries are not close together so we spend lots of time trying to navigate unfamiliar roads.
If you want a great winery tasting experience visit J.L. Kiff. The views are amazing and the owners make it a great experience.

I needed transportation to an appointment for oral surgery, but no taxis were available. Rather than let me be late, the manager/desk clerk Sanjay closed the office and drove me to my appointment. I’ll never forget Sanjays kindness.

Visiting an out of town guest from Kansas.
Visiting an out of town guest from Kansas. We had a great time in the antique shops in Lafayette and Aurora. I have been here before as was in the UFO parade 15 years ago winning best group. We dined at the Hotel Oregon and the garden burgers and tots were super!

Friendly polite clean roads and traffic very good.
Friendly polite clean roads and traffic very good. Chans restaurant lots of food that was very good. Enjoyed the farm fest a lot. I really liked all the old stuff in the museum. I bought a lot of home made crafts. I the little poetry bowel I bought it was exactly made.
Older building-beautifully redone. Fun, quirky atmosphere. Very clean and super comfortable room. Bed and linens were fantastic and the AC worked really well-not usually the case in most hotels-even high end! Loved having a sitting area with sofa. Thoughtful touches like pressed coffee and tea in room. Staff was so friendly and quick to offer suggestions for local restaurants or wine tasting venues. Would most certainly stay here again! It’s a little gem!
They needed to repair 2 holes - one in the ceiling and 1 in the bathroom - due to a previous leak. They were kind enough to call me in advance to ask if I would still like the room, and offered me a 50% discount! Not only that, but there was a nice bottle of wine & a thank you note waiting for us! Very sweet ❤️Customer service was excellent - hotel was older, but clean! Thanks ladies!!
The hotel has no reception - however communicating with the staff over text was really easy and a great experience. They try to be as accommodating as possible with early check in and let us park in the free parking area before our room was ready. The rooms were really clean and I liked that there was a small kitchen / living area.
We loved the charming decor of our one bedroom flat on the second floor of the building. It was easy to pick up the keys at the hotel nearby. We found the apartment very relaxing with room to spread out a bit and with a kitchen to use. Coffee and tea were provided and we could walk all over McMinnville to shop and eat.
If you're in town for medical stuff (there are lots of medical buildings within walking distance), this is a great location. I didn't try to breakfast so can't comment there, but the hotel was clean, the workout room small but fine for some cardio (no weights). If you're just passing through, it's a good place to stop.
The hotel was clean, staff very friendly, beds comfortable, lots of pillows which my wife liked. Most of all it was very quiet. We stayed on the third floor, the hotel was fully booked for an event, we didn't hear any noise in our room. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.
What a lovely and well appointed retreat nestled in a wooded and peaceful setting 5 miles outside of McMinninville’s downtown. A spacious getaway after hiking or wine tasting. We felt welcome and comfortable and this would also be a great property for a family or couples trip.
Great new place kittycorner to The Eyrie Vineyards winery in McMinnville. Short drive or medium walk into downtown. Very clean. Bed is medium to soft and everything is new. Nicely appointed. Linens were nice but would need more for a stay longer than 4-5 days.
Loved the classic architecture. Felt at home.
Central to downtown McMinnville.
Should have stayed two days to explore more.
Will return again for a longer stay.
Had a fabulous dinner of tapas at La Rambla and will do that again.
Lovely hotel, lovely area. My room had access to the inner courtyard. A small oasis on the 3rd floor that had a small fountain, a seating area and plants for a neat little greenspace.
Hotel had a great atmosphere. Wonderful food and drink policy in terms of being able to take it anywhere on the premises. Hotel was super clean and staff was very friendly.
The gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond. When I arrived at the hotel he had already placed my FedEx package in my room which was a huge benefit.
check in was convenient and smooth. Hotel had a pool and hot tub. It was very close to the Evergreen air and space museum and wings and waves water park.
