great location with beautiful view of the mountains from our room, perfect access for cross country skiing and hiking. Big and spacious rooms. very friendly and helpful staff, especially Maria (from Croatia), she really made us feel very welcome! nice breakfast: good selection of cheeses, fresh fruit salad, sweets, eggs, … nice sauna but with one downside: sauna was only open 4 days per week and from 15-19, other days you have to pay extra. It would have been nice if the sauna was open until 8or 9pm at least.

The Gasthof Bergrast is located just on the foot of the Dachtstein mountain on which we had a direct view from our room. It is 10 minutes drive from the major attractions in the regions (gletscher, Reiteralm). The room was very spacious (eqipped for 4 persons), perfectly clean and stilishly furnished. The Gasthof has a welcome area with cofee, tea and cookies always available a huge garden with all the toys for children, an outside gym, a sauna, ping pong table etc. All this at an affordable price and with hosts who were supper friendly and helpful.
