We stayed with our dog, and he settled in very quickly! The flat/area is very dog friendly and you have direct access to the beach to get some good zoomies done! Checking in was very easy, as the key is deposited in a key box next to the door. We were very pleasantly surprised by the flat: it was very clean, cozy, lovely furnished, bright and had a wonderful view on the sea (and sunsets in the evening!). Any questions or corncerns were promptly adressed by the property staff (via email). There is enough parking space available. We felt very much at home!

The house was great for our groups needs. We were a group if mixed ages ranging from 2yrs to 76yrs. All rooms are ensuite rooms which makes for an easy life when you're a large group. Classy decor and fabulous value. Large rooms all very tasteful. The garden and access to the beach was fantastic. Our dogs were able to be off lead in safety. We felt very lucky. Some of us fished, some walked and some of us just simply sat looking out to sea daydreaming. The owners were really helpful. Highly recommended. Plenty of parking too.

Hot tub was lovely (some solar lights around the hot tub area could be a nice addition we thought) and the wood burner is a great addition. The logs were topped up on request. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. Great location for the beach, ennerdale and wast water, RavenGlass and for Scarfell pike walks too. Lovely cottage and location.
