Aphrodite beach hotel has a special position hidden bay, so in case of windy weather it is quiet. This is ideal when the wind is too strong or with small childeren. The wawes are smal and no wind. But, if you like wavy sea, you can go 300 meter further on the beach to Kissamos center direction, you get to a beach with bigger wawes. aphrodite has an interesting position of the swimming pool. No strong sun, no strong wind. Ideal for evenings when tired by see. Also great for childeren. Theere is a restaurant in front of hotel which is quiet, but zou see some touch with the atmosphere if zou have a see view room. The Kisamos area is interesting part of Crete. The port to Balos is abou 3km from Aphrodite. Falassarna is10 minutes by car. Elafonisi about 1 hour by car distance. The hotel personnels were very pleasent and kind. The hotel was perfectly clean.

The place is in a perfect location to reach most of the famous island beaches and fairly away from the buzz of the city so that you can enjoy calm & relaxation. A truly lovely stay. Great location for discovering the east Crete, 15 minutes away by car to a Falasarna, same for Kisamos port. Property really clean and modern (the apartament was cleaned once during our 7-day stay as well). Good equipped - even a small electric "grill". We stayed in apt number two - I would recommend for couples or couples with kid/kids (baby bed was in there and sofa could be used for sleeping too). Not for travel with friend, but they have bigger apts too. Kind and responsive owner. Calm neighbourhood and close to the shops, coffees and so on. I would strongly recommend a near tavern - Antama.
