We visited Sambuca on the weekend of the town's centuries-old annual festival of The Madonna. Parking was nearly impossible to find, but our host held a free street parking spot for us, right next to our building, until our arrival. The location is within 100 yards of the main thoroughfare of Sambuca and walkable to most of the city sites. The apartment is plenty large for two or three people, clean and quiet. You get a very secure feeling as you pass through three locking doors to your room. The room isn't fancy, but the size, location and comfort for the price makes it a very good choice.

Wonderful biking! We rented two mountain bikes and from this 3-level apartment we made everyday trips to some cities and beaches each 25-60 km roundtrips. In the evening afterwards a nice jacuzzi for relaxing the muscles. On the rooftop a astonishing view over the beautiful landscape of Sicilia and wine yards

This is a beautiful flat, refurbished to a high standard and very centrally located in town. The decoration was not entirely to my taste, but it is undeniably a really interesting and lovely apartment. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. Communication with staff was very good and the providing of complimentary bottle of wine was a very welcome gift. The picture you see in Booking.com is actually the view of the museum next door which you see from the bathroom window. There is a small balcony in the property but not the terrace there appears to be in the picture. Don’t let that out you off though as this is undoubtedly a lovely place to stay. See my review on Sambuca di Sicilia for the other drawback to being here - there are lots if great places to visit, but they are all often closed! This little town is lovely but they just haven’t got it together to make sure tourists can see the best of it. None of that is the fault of the Casa Panitteri however

Alfonso was lovely, very clean accommodation , beautiful Sicilian house, but was kept awake as I could here a pump
