Brilliant location, in a beautiful, quiet place. Silvia is a delightful host, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her. The fridge is well stocked when you arrive (eggs, milk, yoghurt, pasta sauce, jam, Nutella) and the cupboards have pasta, lots of tea and coffee etc. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole apartment it is clean and spacious. There is a lovely bar/restaurant 150 m away & a lovely garden at the property. The weather was not great when we stayed, but the apartment is lovely to hang out in.

The area around Lago 'dOrta is beautifully green and the lake is clear. The hostel itself and the village of Ameno surrounding it could not be more Italian if Coppola directed the whole set. Nice other guests, quiet surrounding and a small jazz concert in the local park made the stay enjoyable. But the best were Giuditta and her daughters who were friendly and very helpful, thank you.

Amazing views and Marco is very friendly and helpful. The property is light and has a nice terrace. The interior is simple and has a nice atmosphere to it.

it is not everyday that you get to a place with work and you can find accommodation that you really feel like home. 10 is a low mark for this place as nothing can describe the beauty of this place and the warm welcoming from the owners. breakfast consists of locally produced goods which are amazing. the stream going through the property will offer the best sound during night time. Huge apaetment! Beautiful building. Amazing location -right on the lake, and a few min walk from the old town of Orta San Giuliio. The house is fully equipped, each room have at least one balcony.
