The hotel is great and so are the hosts! I immediately felt like home and the hosts took good care of every request I had. It is very clean, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Iwould definitely stay here again!

Good for a one night stop but keep in mind the location is about a 40 mins drive to the Atacama/Copiapo' airport (and the one close by is just a regional airstrip). Also, you have to book in advance if you want to use any of the hot tubs - so I was unable to try those out.

For people looking for a quiet or who enjoy landscapes, this place is ideal. Easy access and view of the beach that in winter was completely empty during our visit. The view of the desert from the back and the view of the ocean from the front was amazing, and the large rock formations make for an interesting stroll at the beginning or end of the day. The cabins were impeccably clean and the couple who run/maintain the cabins were extremely helpful and friendly. The cabin was a good size for a family, and having your own private back patio/terrace was excellent.

El Faro, a property with a terrace, is located in Caldera, 1.5 km from Mansa, 2 km from Playa Brava, as well as 2.4 km from Bahia Loreto. The owner is extremely helpful and lovely. I forgot something when I left and she took the trouble to send it to me. She tolerates if you can't speak Spanish and it still works.
