Located in a small village, with view down to the ocean from the room and the kitchen area. 15 minutes coastal walk to the beach - Kotohikihama Beach. Said all this, it means: breathtaking ...!! A double tatami room with a lot of space is located upstairs. Downstairs you find a sink and toilet. Outside across the yard there are more toilets and showers and the kitchen, not shared. The kitchen has a lot of space and equipment for cooking - if you want. No restaurants and shops close-by. My favorite place was the small balcony outside in front of the kitchen. Here you get the breeze, the view and the stars at night. Would have loved to stay a few nights more... Very kind and helpful owners!

Terletak di puncak bukit, Genmyoan menawarkan kamar-kamar Jepang dengan pemandangan Amanohashidate dan laut yang megah. From the moment you arrive at the front gate, till u walk into the foyer area , and looking to the left where the lounge area is , the big window/balcony area— you see the postcard view , right there. Stunning. The view , the rooms, the meals, onsen were all very good. Staff very nice and helpful. On the day we left they still gave us a token/pass for their carpark and cafe at the main tourist area. 10/10 . Would really want to visit again.

The rooms are huge, foods r delicious and staffs are friendly. Everything is perfect there, everything that u need can find in the room, free mini bar. Inside the bathroom, u can find flat irons, facial masks and lotion etc

It is in a quiet area so we have a good night sleep. It has free parking and washing machine. Highly recommend if you come to this town.

Very nice experience, very near to JR station (1-2 mins walk) and major attractions, very nice food, very nice onsen. Will stay here again if I visit amanohashidate

Lovely stay at Amanohashidate Youth Hostel, great welcoming, dormitory was clean and cosy, délicious breakfast and fantastic view from the common space. I will definitely recommand it !
