It was the ideal hotel to go to and recharge. The room was big, beautiful and just perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. There are no words to describe the food at the restaurant. We did not end up eating any meal outside because we wanted to try everything on the menu and luckily we did! Special shoutout to Danny who promptly answered all our questions prior to arrival and was amazing during our stay. Also, to Nikki at the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meals and our time at the hotel. Every single employee made us feel welcomed and provided impeccable service!

We had a lovely time, everyone was always so helpful and kind and sweet. The Inn is just a few minutes by foot from the beach and has so many thoughtful little details - there’s always bottled water in the fridge for example. The breakfast is fantastic!!! I really recommend staying here and I hope to be back soon as well :)

The location is super convenient to boardwalk and Hassles (Ice Cream Parlor) is just a few steps away! We truly enjoyed our impromptu stay and we’ll certainly visit again. It was hard to leave! The Bedford Inn is a 10-room Victorian Bed & Breakfast a block from Cape May's pristine beaches and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and other activities. Fabulously comfortable and well organised b&b. Delicious breakfast, facilities carefully thought through to make guests feel at home. Great location for walking into the town centre and the beach; wonderful porches for sitting out. A really outstanding b&b.

We booked last min reservation on the holiday weekend. The room is comfortable. The location is excellent right on the beach. The pool is heated, very comfortable. More important, the staff is amazing. They extended our checkout time which really made my day by having a chance to spending extra time at the beach and pool. My five year old son also left his teddy bear there which was very special to him. The owner was very nice and the teddy bear is on the way back now. We really really appreciate everything there!

Extras like free bike use, pour over coffee in the room, more coffee in reception and happy hour with local brews and wine were nice touches. Most importantly Chet was a terrific host with spot on tips for dinner and cocktails.
