The view was memorizing, the tide differential in fathoms is 5.3 meters. Constantly something different to look at. You can hear the freighters/tankers before you see them. Real was very helpful in identifying places to eat. When I woke up in the morning to dining in a room surrounded by exquisite folk art along w/exceptional Canadian painters work I thought I was in a dream. Sebastian is a true professional hotelier. No detail is overlooked.

We stayed in the Panorama room, and had a wonderful view across the river to Quebec city. Beautiful Room was Moroccan themed, very unique. Our host was wonderful, enjoyed talking to him after breakfast. Hearty breakfast served, wonderful home made yogurt, French toast and home made preserves.

Great location for spending a night on the island, easy to find. The in-room air conditioner was a life saver because it was an abnormally hot and humid couple of days and there was no relief even at night. The check-in was painless and breakfast was quickly served when we arrived downstairs in the morning to talk to the host.

The buffet breakfast has everything you would ever want or need….regional items such as waffle bits with local maple syrup, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheeses and other breads, too. You will not walk away hungry! But best of all was the staff!! Friendly, accommodating, and truly going out of their way. We had dinner one night there…hmmmmm, great food!! The portions are large and vey delicious…we didn’t expect gourmet but got it!! Location is nice, too…easy to get to Old Town Quebec…as well as other places on and off the island. Especially liked the view and how quiet it was at night.

The owner was delightful and very attentive. This was one of the best B&B experiences I have ever had. I will certainly try to stay here when I am next in the area.
