We loved our time at Chateau de Melin! This is a one of a kind unique place nestled in beautiful wine country. It is easy to get around and visit vineyards, excellent restaurants in nearby Mersault and explore a variety of wonderful historic locations. We were so lucky with the weather and able to take out the e-bikes for a spin to see where the grapes came from that our wine was made from. Our room was very spacious, had a balcony over the courtyard and was decorated with beautiful antiques. Our view from the other side overlooked a gorgeous pond with a herd of white cows grazing in the field beyond. You can kind of imagine being the Queen of the castle here. The bathroom is very modern and as well, spacious. Best of all, the staff is wonderful. Helene welcomed us and made sure that everything was perfect. Lea took us to the historic Cave underneath the building for a very tasty wine tasting that we truly appreciated. Kudos to Chateau Melin for being so well run, beautiful and comfortable. Thank you for making our stay there wonderful.

Amazing place! Really serviceminded host that assisted us with everything we needed including great wine! Supercomfy bed, loved l'Occitane products in the bathroom and luxurious towels. Lovely garden. The host recommended the restaurant in Hotel du Centre which was fantastic and it was next door. Its in the city centre, so shops are just around the corner. Perfect location! We also loved Coco the friendly cat that was just chilling outside in the yard. Thanks! We are surely coming back to this place.

The breakfast every morning is still one of our favorite memories of our entire trip. The location of the property is absolutely perfect, with short a walk to either the vineyards or the center of town.

It’s an amazing accommodation. The owners are the nicest people to run a b&b. They’re really helpful, kind and also willing to make any reservation at a nice restaurant nearby. Breakfast is also very nice! Everything is clean, even the swimming pool get’s cleaned very day.

The room was large, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. Super clean, with easy access to a great pool and jacuzzi and located in the idyllic town of Saint-Romain right on the Route des Grands Crus. Stephanie, the welcoming host with a contagious smile, gave us some wonderful advice on what to see, where to eat, and where to buy some wine. A great three day vacation.
