Exceptional design and realisation in a maison de maître in the countryside. The food was perfect (steak with french fries and perfectly cooked green beans, in the morning pains au chocolat, fruit and breads and jam) and the setting is divine in the garden. We often stop over in Auvergne on our way between south and north. This is a great addition and thankfully the owners welcome us one nighters... Thanks and see you again!

There is really nothing one can fault at this bed and breakfast, friendly and helpful owners, excellent location, comfortable and original rooms (perfect for young children), excellent breakfast, reasonable prices. After a long and tiring drive, dinner was prepared by the helpful owners. Highly recommended, especially for families with young children.

Overnight stay breaking our journey south. Great B&B, our room was spacious and comfortable and we had the bonus of a small lounge attached. Our host was lovely and joined us for breakfast. There is no evening meal provision, but there was no problem with us having our picnic dinner in our room!

The family, Jake, Danielle and Graham couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The superb renovations to the beautiful chateau are a credit to their hard work and love for the property. The food was delicious. Our room was beautiful with lots of space and tastefully decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our poodle Molly was welcomed and it was lovely to meet Merlin the resident spaniel. The location was superb, opposite a beautiful lake that you can walk around with a dog and swim in warmer weather. The chateau is easily accessed from and to the motorway. We were travelling north from Spain, stopped at the chateau overnight on our way to Calais. It was all blissfully easy. We will return 😁
